Biography of Adero Neely
Adero means Gives Life. Referred to as boy wonder by Chicago's media, 14-year old Adero Neely is Chicagos 2006 Most Talented Kid. He won this title at the Chicago Music Awards where he received over 75,000 votes. During the summer of 2006, Adero played the character of Little Tony, the son of movie star Malik Yoba, in the summer 2006 controversial hit stage play Work It Out, which premiered at Chicagos Arie Crown Theatre. For three months (August through October 2006), Adero played Travis Younger in the hit Broadway Musical adaptation of Raisin at the University of Chicagos Court Theatre. In November 2006, Adero completed a national Sears commercial; and is the poster child for the Big Brothers Program in the Midwest. Adero was recently cast for a part in the upcoming short film "Hollywood Jerome". Adero won his first national singing competition at age nine, defeating over 150 adult singers and becoming Kalahari Resorts (Wis.) first Idol of 2004. Adero is featured in the March 2006 Issue of GUMBO Teen Magazine, the September 2006 issue of the Chicago Defender (referred to as the kid with the platinum voice), the October 2006 issue of the Chicago Sun Times, the summer issue of the Hyde Park Harold and the December 2005 Issue of WORD UP Teen Magazine. Adero's first music video in 2005 'Save Some World for Me' was selected by Swept Away TV, a nationally distributed teen music/pop culture TV show seen in 42 markets including NYC, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta and Phoenix and is estimated to be available in 19 million households. UNSIGNED Music Magazine and KCSG television also accepted Aderos music video for their music television show that broadcast to over 150,000 homes via cable and 500,000 via the Dish Network. Adero's new music video will air on Germanys TV-38, Australias TV-31, Channel 25.com Time Warner Cable TV in Manhattan NY and Cablevision in Long Island NY. Additionally, National Independent Music Video Show selected Aderos music video as one of the best Indie Music Videos to round out their first season of IM, a nationally syndicated TV show sponsored by Sam Ash Music & CD Baby. With respect to radio, Strictly Vegas Internet Radio and Indie 104.7 FM, iRadio LA placed Aderos song, Save Some World for Me' in rotation and many college stations are following suit.. Adero was the opening act for a sale out crowd of 4,500 at the 2006 'New Jack Tour' at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago featuring R&B singers Aaron Hall and Guy, Teddy Riley and Black Street, Tony Toni Tone and After 7.
